Jack's Story
I went to Mt. Carmel high in Denver co.I was in the first class when the school opened . Mother Paula was my home room teacher.I quit school the first month of my sophmore class and enlisted in the Marine Corps in Oct. 53. Then I went to Airman prep school in Jackson Fla.,then Photo school in Pensacola Fla. Was sent to VMJ-3 in Miami and we transferred to El Toro in 55....Expand for more
We merged with vmc -3 and became VMCJ-3. I was discharged honerably in Oct.56 and stayed in So. Ca.since. I worked for the telephone co. Pacific Bell,Pac.Tel and finally Pacific Telesis where I retired after 30 years as an engineer. Was then a financial planner for nine years. I now help my wife run our small charity and do some woodworking,mostly making pens and canes.
