Jack's Story

Factoid Autobio: 1- BS Anthropology SUNY New Paltz 1970 2- I foolishly believed the gov't BS about Vietnam so I joined the Navy (70-74) 3- Social Security Claims Rep for awhile 4- Met Elaine at SSA in Corning, engaged after 3 dates... married almost 42 years! :) 5- Started/ran my own Commodore computer store in Kenmore, NY 1983-89 (ever heard of us... Software Supermarket)? 6- 2 grown kids. Jenny- going for her MSW (2008 Summa Cum Laude grad of IL State U- 4.0 gpa) David- FT school and FT work. 7- I've held many jobs over the years, mostly in sales. 8-Retired 9- Ended up in Mahomet Illinois (midst a 6 state...Expand for more
cornfield... I really miss the rolling, wooded hills of Putnam Valley). 10- Always dreamed of building a log home... Did it in 1999... it took me 18 months but it's complete! 11- Current situation: OK financially Personal Philosophy: secular humanist. Political Philosophy: Independent. I don't trust Big government or Big business... when Bush won in 2000: I turned to my wife and said it was a disaster for the country. I wish I'd been wrong!
