Jack's Story
After high school I went to southwestern in Weatherford for my Freshman year. I joined the Air Force after that and became a aircraft electrician. I was discharged the fall of 1970 as a SSGT receiving the purple heart and 6 other ribbon and medals.. I passed my Electrical Contractors exam the 1st of 1971.. have two children, Cariann from her previous marriage and Jack III who was born in 1976. I ran my business for 23 yrs and sold it to my employees and became the inspector for the city of El Reno for just short of 5 yrs. I then went to Del City the fall of 1998. I was there for the tornado of 1999. It reminded me of Vietnam May of 1968, the deadliest Month of the war.I worked 12 hr days 7 day weeks for several months before things started to calm down. I worked there until I was 62 and retired.
