Hey all you ole Foxes! Hope everyone is doing well and living long, productive lives! After graduating from Fox High School in 1969, I left and moved to Durant to attend college. I remained there through the summer of 1974 and completed my bachelors and masters degrees (wished I had studied my history more in high school, however). I took my first teaching job in Savanna, OK that fall and taught all of the junior high and high school science classes and also coached the 7th and 8th grade basketball teams. Savanna was a great school and I would have been happy there, except I wanted to learn to be a really good teacher, working under the mentorship of other experienced teachers. I moved to Plano, TX in 1975 and taught all the middle school sciences in two different schools. In 1980 I became an assistant principal and did that until 1986. In 1986 I moved to the senior high level and did the sub-school principal job until 2004. In 2004 I moved across town and took the principal position at the Guinn Special Programs Center.
