Life
Current news: Left Prometheus Energy in January 2008 (having to live in a southern California landfill for a greenwashed mismanaged company finally got the better of me) and started a consulting company: Teqne. So far, so good.
Moved to a loft space in Pioneer Square in Sept 2007 and love the urban life.
Less recent stuff: After funding was cut at Hanford, work got incredibly slow for me. And, we wanted to move back to the Seattle area. So, I left Fluor and started with Prometheus Energy at the end of September 2006. PEC turns the off-gas from landfills, etc. into LNG to fuel vehicles.
April 1, 2004 - left Hinz Automation for Fluor. Moved to Richland Washington where I'm automating the cleanup of old radioactive waste. For the first time in years, I have a job I can leave behind at the end of the day.
August 31, 2003 - Married Robert Myers! Acquired 2 awesome stepkids: Sean (1977) and Carolyn (1982) and 2 bad cats.
July 2003 - Went to work full-time for Hinz Automation (still doing control systems programming), moved to downtown Seattle (just a few blocks from the Space Needle), started a long term project ...Expand for more

Ancient news: Married 1981 to Dave Wenzlick (Decatur Central 1978 - met him at GMI). 2 children, Sarah (1982, finished her master's degree at NAU in Dec. 2006 and now teaching at a private high school outside Sedona AZ) and Jordan (1983, living in Florida and doing computer stuff for a home healthcare software startup). Moved to Arizona 1990. Divorced and moved to Seattle 1999. Worked for Detroit Diesel Allison, Endress+Hauser, Controls West (Phoenix), Ci Technologies (Rochester NY, Charlotte NC, Sydney NSW). Had my own company for several years - RAD Resources, Inc. - engineering services firm specializing in industrial automation. Then did the same thing as an employee of Set-Point Control. Was a self-employed consultant for awhile.
I read excessively and collect books. I have traveled a great deal for work, all over the Americas and Australia/New Zealand. Pleasure travel has taken me to the UK, Italy, and all over the US. Met Robert Myers (native of Washington) in mid-2000, and have been enjoying life with him ever since. Still play horn and guitar occasionally, and generally just enjoy myself.
