Jackie's Story
Life
I made a lot of choices, some good, some bad. They say never regret anything. But I have my regrets, things I said, shouldn't have said, done, shouldn't have done; but I like to think I learned my lessons. I've traveled all over and have met wonderful people. I can't say that there is anyone I'm not glad I met.
School
I jumped around a lot as a kid. Wish I could have stayed in one area, one school. Question is, what school, out of them all would I have chosen.
College
Three words: Sigma Nu Fraternity
I love my brothers and all the Thursday night women. I learned to become a better writer. My path began to straighten right here. Thanks Lee PaPa. At Ball State I tip my hat to Kawasaki, Cameron, Flounder, Cheech, Chops, Harve, Spanky, Brad, Todd, Clint, and the rest of the crew... No one could top us or what we did. At Sam Houston State I'd like to thank Spanky and Travis you guys were good to ...Expand for more
me. Jill I thank you too. I hope you and Travis finally tied the knot. Say hi to Barkley for me.
Workplace
I am a hard worker. Non stop. I don't know what drives me but when it comes to construction, carpentry, etc... it's the idea of creating something. New or improvements I relish the moments. I love to build.
Military
I love my time in the military and instead of getting out I re-enlisted my second time around in Iraq. I played semi-pro football for the Wiesbaden Phantoms, an opportunity the military has allowed me. All in all the military helped me grow into a better man. My friends will always be remembered. Especially Mike Thompson (RIP). The best friend a guy could have. I love the action and decided the adrenaline wins out over the civilian world. So I said I would go but now I stay. Besides, back at Bragg where in the world would you rather be. Except maybe FOB Kalsu or Camp Delta, Al Kut.
