Jackie's Story

Life In my wildest dreams I never thought I'd end up in Texas on the Mexican border, but that's where I am and I love every minute of it! The picture I posted was taken on a cruise last month/ I'm the one in pink. Life Story Graduated in1961,married in Sep 61, by 1966 had 4 daughters (Catholic in the 60s!), got an ADN in 1972 and a BSN in 1976, joined the Army in 1982 (husband Harv got his ADN that year), moved the whole family to Texas. 1985. In 1988 when all the girls were out of house, started travel nursing taking jobs all over Texas, California, Hawaii, Conn. and DC. 12 years ago movedt to the Rio Grande Valley and now live in Brownsville in a gated retirement community. This Sep. will celebrate our 50th anniversary with my wonderful husband who has put up with me throughout this crazy life.. All 4 daughters and 7 grand children still live in Texas (3 in San Antonio and 1 near Ft Worth.
