Jackie's Story
Life
After graduation, I attended Eastern Michigan for one year, then decided to get a "job" and buy a house. Once I paid off my EMU student loans, I attended Hank High....then transferred and graduated from The University of Michigan Dearborn with my sweetheart and best friend Michael in 1999. I got hired teaching middle school science in Goodrich (just North of Oakland County) in 1999. During my first 2 years of teaching, I worked on and completed my Masters in Education degree. 2 in February...she has given me a purpose in life! I am a teacher (middle school science) but decided to stay at home with our daughter until she starts school. My husband is an Elementary School Principal in Pinckney where we live (near Ann Arbor & Brighton). My mother and her husband still live in Dearborn as do both of my sisters and my best friend Lisa (Crill) Maurino. We love to go out on our tiny pontoon boat and fish, swim etc.(Zukey Lake...chain of 9 lakes in Livingston Co.). We also enjoy camping, going to the zoo, and our daughter asks to go to the "museum" every time we get in the truck!
