Jackie's Story
I am very happily married to John and we have an xtremely active 3 year old, Joshua.
We live in Tampa, FL where I teach elementary school and John is a Financial Analyst.
We luv the outdoors and everything FL has to offer. We also love to travel and explore.
I was diagnosed with MS six months after Joshy was born and spend every free moment that I have raising both funds and awareness for the Mid Florida Chapter of the National MS Society.

emely successful fundraisers each year, including being Captain of my Walk team-Team Durning. I was named the Walk Ambassador in '06, Volunteer Coordinator in '08 and won their Perpetual Idealist Award in '07.
I never let MS define who I am, but rather show the world and everyone around me how GOOD life can be even with this illness.
Positive attitude and a very active 3 year old, keep me healthy and I couldn't be happier or in a better place in my life!!
