Hi All!
I left school in the middle of my senior year in 1970, went back in 71 and then left again three weeks before graduation. I think today you could say I was one of those "emo" kids - I hated high school.
Long story short, GED several years later, Regent's Scholarship to Eastern Kentucky University, moved to Michigan with hubbie and two little girls. My two "little" girls are now 23 and 21. The older one just graduated in June with honors from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina and the younger one is in her junior year at the same college. Hubbie and I have been married 32 years - he's an awesome guy and is a self employed webmaster.
We love the long summers and warmth of North Carolina, the friendliness of the folks in our little fishing village here in Oriental (what a name, right?) and are enjoying ourselves. Hopefully, I will get to a reunion one of these days.
