Jackie's Story
Currently living in a third world country - you may have heard of it - it's called Arkansas. My husband and I moved here nine years ago chasing his pension. Should have stayed in California.....
I have one child, Dylan, my wonderful son. He has blessed me his entire life with his wonderful sense of humor and love of life. He has a gorgeous wife and two beautiful kids, Presley my lovely granddaughter, and Shalor my adorable grandson. live in this "God-forsaken" place. There are parts of this state that are gorgeous and fun - those parts just happen to be 100 miles away. So several years ago we bought a Harley and use it to escape this area on the weekends. We are hoping to semi-retire in a year and move to John's family farm in Pennsylvania. His family still owns a farm where he grew up and we would like to move there, renovate the farmhouse and then find jobs to pay for it!
I would love to hear from old friends at Sunny Hills. I am still in contact with Lorraine Simmons and very occassionally hear from Carol Hansen and Bettye Walton. Would love to know what happened to my girls, Toni Malmberg and Maureen Shinhofen!
