Jackie's Story

Life For those of you who know me, I am still the wild and crazy person that you knew in my younger years. I guess thats something that will be with me forever :). I was married to Chris Pond on AUGUST 20, 1978 for 19 years and we have 3 beautiful children together. We spent together all those years traveling all over the world in the United States Air Force. We were divorced in 1996. My children are very important to me , and I wish for them all the happiness in the world that life can give. Aaron is a Pilot, Jennifer is in the USAF, and my youngest son Todd is employeed at Denny's in Alaska. Very happy to be the mother of each of MY children. My favorite thing in life is singing. I have sang on T.V. a few times in my past , and have sang in many churches and won $$$ in talent contest. I represented my husband and his Military Squadron 49 LRS during Operation Enduring Freedom in a Fashion Show at Holloman A.F.B, N.M. My goal is to sing the National Anthem for whatever occassion. As you can see, I still have NERVE, nothing seems to stop me. I am a happy person, I love to laugh and have a good time, acutally I love rasing HELL!!! I love Music of all kinds , love to dance and party the night away. Thru all the years in my life, I feel that being a good person will take you thru life without all the hassles. I have to admit that I admire my Grandmother for she always told me, Jack, you'll always be just like me and you'll never make it over Fools Hill, I guess she's right, and I love her for everything thing in life she has taught me, thanks Granny, I miss you!! Live life to the fullest for Life is to beautiful to mess up!! Might as well have all the fun you can, who knows what tomorrow brings. One more thing in life thats good to me is my best friend, she is just like me CRAZY!!!! :o) Moma & Daddy, you were the best of Parents, I will always love you and miss you dearly. anting to work with Downs Syndrome children. I moved on to attend a college in Central S.C. and life changed a lot for me. Life goes on, and I wasn't able to continue school. I got married and became a mother, and as a good mother I put my children first. So, I spent my years taking care of my little ones thinking oneday down the road I'll go back to school. Here I am today 2003, and still no college yet. Just an OLD FART and loving life :) College I attend college for one year at Central Wesleyan College. Went home on summer break and low and be-hold, I did something crazy,, I got married to a CONTROL FREAK!!!!!!!! So ,that was the stopping point of any college education. Started having children , and life goes on,,,, Workplace Started working with BI-LO on Wade Hampton Blvd, in Taylors, South Carolina in 1973. Spent many years employed with BI-LO. Was then transfered to BI-LO at Peachtree Shopping Center and learned to stock , make displays, and worked Produce and Meat Market.Venturing out with BI-Lo is where I met my then husband Chris P. I was a cashier, and he was a stocker/bagboy. We were married August 20,1978 and I worked around to different states while traveling with my then husband in the United States Air Force. I spent time in Guam and was employed with NCOA, a Automobile Insurance Agency, paid very well, and good experience for future jobs. After my divorce, I moved on to Germany with my husband Frank and I found exciting work with S&K. They are a broker company that merchandise's their products in the Commissary on military facilities. I was in charge of maintaining a line of products of 1600 items or more. Making displays, summer campaigns, sport promotions, promoting products by going into Health Spa's, Schools, and setting up seasonal fun for all the children. A job that will keep you on your toes, and something that I will look into in the future. Moving on with the military, my husband got orders for New Mexico, and I spent 1 1/2 years employed with AAFES. Moving on, I am now employed with 49 SVS/SVH at Holloman AFB, N.M. too much to go into there!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just recently resigned from a company that I was employeed with for nearly 3 years. So glad to be away from that enviroment. I have another job in line, and I am so eager to start anew with a cheerful professional work enviroment. Will go into more details on my new position when I return from a nice tropical vacation. Aloha!!!!!!!!
