Jackson's Story
Life
After the service, I joined the King County Sheriff's Office. I retired after 29 years as Chief of Detectives. I worked many serial homicides. I was a member of the Green River Task Force and was gratified to see the case solved. I was married in Germany and have 5 children. 4 boys and a girl. My oldest is a Police Officer and is also in a Special Forces group in the Air Force Reserve. My second died unexpectdly six years ago and we miss him terribly. an instructor. He just finished his MBA at Gonzaga as well. My fourth is a Police Officer in a major east King County city and she is loving every minute of it. She graduated cum laude from the UW. She is a training officer and does many other things for her department. My baby is going to college and works at Microsoft. He still lives at home. We are grandparents and enjoying daily visits from our Grandsons who are seven and four. I became Chief of Security for the Space Needle in 2003 but I am finally pulling the pin on December 31st, 2008....45 years is enough.
