Jaclyn's Story
Life
After surviving a horrific car accident by a drunk driver I have learned that life tragedies can open up many doors otherwise unknown. And so far those doors have allowed the entrance of inspiration, purpose, and greatness!
I became a paralegal with an emphasis on healthcare. I'm engaged to get married May '07 with a wonderful man, John Fratangelo, whom I have been with for 5 1/2 years. I have a beautiful 6 year old step son who lightens up my world (kids have that tendency). We look forward to having more children. I am kept very busy by nephews and neices who are extremely active.
Currently, I work part-time, which affords me time to work on other ambitions. FINALLY visited Europe and absolutely loved Italy and France, although Switzerland was breathtaking. Fortunately, I have stayed in contact with a few very close grade school & high school friends. My parents still live in Concord so I am there often. My Father is a Conco...Expand for more
rd City Councilman, therefore I am learning quite a bit about our cities past and present politics. I have a new respect for Concord. My Grandfather was born in Concord when the population was only 300 people and Mt. Diablo hospital was the size of a house. Concord, surprisingly has a wonderful history. It has been eye opening to find out my third uncle's house is a Concord museum(Things I took forgranted as a kid).
I enjoy and look forward to reading other classmates bios. It is exciting to see where they have journeyed in life.
College
I received my B.A. in Communications in 1995 from CSU Sacramento.
Spent eight years as a Senior Business Development Manager in the Info. Technology Consulting business.
Started my Master's in Communication's at CSU Hayward and will graduate exactly one year total. (Full time grad. student).
Looking for an internship in D.C. for Lobbying and look to get into Healthcare Lobbying back in Ca. after D.C.
