Jacob's Story
For those of you that don't know me,I'm Jacob and I've been everywhere that I wanted to go, done almost everything that I wanted to do, and have seen a lot. I've been retired for a few years just as many of you, but am still working at things that I want to do. Just can't seem to stay still.
For those that do know me, the "THEN" photo is accurate. It was supplied to me from the CO '56 yearbook by Ervin Smith. The truth is that it was taken a little after High School when I was in colege. Of course I guess that I should add that it fourteen years after Lucy Laney that I entered college.
I continue to be a photographer and I enjoy sharing scenes of coastal Georgia on Classmates. You might say that I am using Classmates as my online Photography Gallery. I will gladly make copies of my pictures if anyone finds them i...Expand for more
nteresting and desireable.
I do publishing and advertising and also some real estate investing. Being in coastal Georgia I can't resist the opportunity to engage in the FRESHLY CAUGHT SEAFOOD industry.
I enjoy fishing, shrimping and crabbing. There is nothing finer than a Low Country Boil made with really fresh seafood.
About three years ago I became acquainted with Inshore and Offshore fishing and I love it. Of course it isn't exactly a picnic landing a forty-five or fifty pound fish at my age. Each time I tackle one I am reminded of unused muscles that I still have. I keep the Ben-Gay handy. If anyone is interested in deep sea fishing in the pristine waters of coastal Georgia, contact me or email me through Classmates and I think I can help arrange a charter. I check Classmates daily and I will respond.
