Jacob's Story
Life
I graduated from Cascade High School in the year 2000, despite developing dibilitating panic attacks, which left me unallowed to leave the house for 9 months.
After that time I began to get my life back in order, atleast as much as I can. I began working for a time, at Boeing, working as a Supply Chain Managment Analyst. That job lasted a year, around the end of which I met my future wife, although at the time I did not know it.
I moved in with her and her son Eriq who was only 18 months old at the time. Only a few months later she became pregnant again, and this brought us both joy as we both wanted a child together. She was born 10/17/2002, and we named her Lile Anna Odea, taking the last name from my moms side of the family, since we agreed and intend on changing our last name to suit.
We later moved back to Bothell with our family, and eventually established a home here, In this time I have worked for Home Depot twice, but because of my disabilities and lack of medical coverage I had to quit both times.

came pregant again, and again we wanted another child. We knew it was difficult to raise children, but they brought us joy.
I decided it was finally time to give college another try, and so almost a year and a half ago, I reenrolled at Everett Community College, first intending to study Criminal Justice, until my true passion won out and I decided on Anthropology. Shortly after I started class, I had to take a couple of days off to help with the baby that arrived on 09/19/2005, we named her Paikea Jordan Odea. We got the name Paikea from the lead character in "Whale Rider", and the name itself is based in true Maori Beliefs.
My first thought as far as an internal focus for anthropology was archaeology, however I more recently have had some nerve degeneration in my limbs and as such cannot handle the type of physical labor involved, so I have decided to persue my other anthropological love, which is language. And so to that End I am working through my classes to the best of my abilities, to better myself, my family, and to love what I do.
