I can still walk upright. I am busy getting spare parts however. Dental work completed, new hip coming up next month. I am trying to keep my brain functioning by writing some short stories about my life in Cairo, Illiniois in the 1940's and early fifties. helping out, but I just can not seem to be able to get the time fitted into my schedule of being grandmother and just plain old and lazy.
I have also been consumed with working for the Presidental election. I feel it is quite an honor to be doing what I can to help Obama become President of the United States. I have had the opportunity to have worked with him on several projects since he was a young man in the Atgeld and South Chicago neighborhoods and found him to be a young man with INTEGRITY.
