Jacqueline's Story
After graduating early from McCluer North, I spent the next 3 years of my life(36 months straight through)at Washington University's Mallickrodt Institute.I became a Radiation Therapist and my 1st job took me to sunny Florida's Cocoa Beach. I planned on living there forever but before I left I got engaged to my longtime boyfriend Steve Hoener(class of 79).His plan was to follow me to Florida when he graduated from U of M Rolla the following winter. n Florida came to an end. After 1 year in Florida I came back to Missouri, married Steve and this November we will celebrate 25 years of wedded bliss.We had 4 kids (our 1st died of a heart defect at 5 1/2 months). Our oldest will graduate from DeSmet class of 2010 and follow his father's footsteps into Engineering. After the death of our 1st son Kurt, I became a stay at home mom for my next 3 kids. I now work in the non-profit world where I am a Program Manager at Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Service in St. Charles MO. Life is very good...
