Jacqueline's Story
I've been trying to correct the registration on Classmates for some time. My information shows under David McCall (my brother) class of 1970, if you are interested check out that site as well. If anyone has information about my brother, please email me under Jacqueline McCall-Flynn at Classmates.
I live with my family in Dallas, Texas and I still work as an actress/singer/dancer/voiceover talent while co-producing documentary and SAG Indie films. Work on the Board of Directors for TX Screen Actors Guild and am on the national SAG committee for Performers With Disabilities, which brings me back to L.A. quite often. Aside from the occasional film, .tv. and stage work, do a lot of concerts and read in the schools with SAG BookPALS program. Also co-teach a voice- over class. At my second 'day' job we represent 52 international companies and I do the voiceover/ spokesperson and telephone recordings for many of those clients.. A couple of years ago, I had the honor of doing a classical fundraising concert at Hollymont castle in the Hollywood Hills after taping a guest stint on "The Steve Harvey Show." Am an associate producer with Pluma Pictures; our last documentary "Not Broken"(w/ music by Kris Kristofferson) won numerous Int'l film festival awards and was featured at the World Conference on Religions in Melbourne,Australia.. We are currently shooting "Man of the People" and plan to be releasing a full length feature in 2012.
To stay in the entertainment business you always need to keep going forward.
For those who are desperate to hear my voice, I do the phone voiceover greetings for a variety of national companies. A sample of those are on Limited Too, Justice, BraSmyth, Anchor Blue, Sears Furniture, TheLimited, and during the holiday season The Int'l Spymuseum. On 06/01/2014 I became the official call-in voice for ordering over the phone for AAFES (U.S.Army & Air Force-PX & BX services).
June 2010, SAG did a videotaping of a staged reading for the screenplay "Lucas & Lazaria" as part of our ongoing series, Go MAVS!(although still a Lakers fan). As an actress and assoc.-producer, I was so thrilled to be working...Expand for more
with some of the best voiceover actors in this area. Produced by Barbara Bratton & Sharon Garrison (Sordid Lives), and including Bob Magruder( Mr. Voiceover), Ada Lynn(Our Gang Comedies), Howard Flaherty(Motivational Public Speaker), Lisa Dalton(Michael Chekhov world coach),with newcomers Ben Dane & Emily Eldredge;it has been a phenomenal learning experience. .In April 2011 read the part of the Baroness for a Vampire radio show, which is supposed to be turned into a movie and shot a national Gatorade commercial with the Oklahoma City Thunder. As I have danced two seasons for the Dallas MAVS(The Lakers are still my fav)you can bet I have been covering the current national basketball playoffs.
Our biggest event in 2010 was daughter Larissa's countryside wedding at our relative's estate home in Spring Branch,Texas. See pictures.
Am still in contact with my dear JBHS friends and a group of us meet every year for a mini-reunion. Would love to hear from old friends and meet up with classmates at our 40 year reunion and here on CLASSMATES.COM
The 12 minute short version of our Pluma Pictures documentary, "Man of the people" has just won honorable mention at the Los Angeles and the Houston REMI Film Festival as well as four other festivals across the nation. As I sit on the Board of Directors for No. Texas SAG, I was able to supply all the gourmet desserts (handmade by yours truly and my multi-talented daughter Larissa) as a donation from Pluma Pictures to the Dallas SAG Awards show. See pictures attached.
Just returned from the highlands of Scotland, June 2012,(visiting friends and going to my Goddaughter's wedding in Glasgow) then another tour of London-checking out the Olympics sites. Now, at home, getting reading for another staged script reading video, before I head back to Burbank for our annual mini-reunion.
We were blessed with a Grand son JACK this past April. His picture is enclosed in the album. What a joy!!!!
Now in Dec. of 2013, eight years doing documentaries & running crews, with four award winning films on my resume; I am proud to be judging an 'Art and Poetry in film' festival this coming May in Burbank.
