Life Since graduating, I waited tables and/or cooked in restaurants for 20 years, then went back school and received my BS in Vocal Music Education at Black Hills State University in 1994 and then my Masters degree in Counseling and Human Resources Development at South Dakota State University in 2004. I taught music for 8 years and because they wouldn't allow me to give shock collars to the students, I had to quit (just kidding). Currently I work for the Sheriff's department for the county in which I live. I am a chemical dependency councelor and am working with women from an intense methamphetamine treatment program that come to me from the woman's prison system.
