Jacqui's Story
Well, we obviously had been awaiting grandchildren for a number of years. Our only child - a daughter - Sharon and her husband - Stan, though married for 13 years now, were unable to have children until recently. They adopted Sean in September of 2006 (two weeks after Dennis's heart attack!), then nine months later, became pregnant with Samuel!! We are blessed to have them right around the corner from us. Sharon works three days a week and I am blessed to be keeping one or both boys at least two days/ week. Their granddaddy ("Da") gets home early from Greeneville every chance he gets. very poor health, on a walker for past 11 years, multiple joint replacements. Both of Denn's parents are still living (locally)and in poor health, as well as a childless great-aunt who is nearly 92. Denn and I both met Christ in our mid-twenties, have sort of "circled" the denominations and are now back to his Presbyterian roots.
I love to exercise, but finding the time to do so is increasingly difficult, and foot problems have returned for the time being ... making my favorite exercise, the elliptical trainer not a good idea for now. .... so, as a result ... I've gained weight!! :( ... so, I don't think I will post a photo until several months from now when I hope to have some of this weight off.
