Jacqulin's Story

I went to school in Dixon, Mo from the 3rd grade to the 11th grade. My heart will always be in Dixon as my home town and there are many people I love there. I have been in touch with many of them since I joined classmates. I moved to Springfield, Mo my senior year, it was hard for me to find friends there, most thought I was a country hick, I was country when country wasn't cool. I went to nursing school at Burge Pro. Hospital, in Springfield. I stayed 1 year then married my first husband from AK, that marriage lasted 5 years we had 2 children together. Then I moved to AZ, met a very nice man and married him. We had 3 children together, we stayed together 10 years. Then I took the big dive and went back to college, I majored in computer programing. I worked 5 days a week and had 5 children and a granddaughter at home to take care of.I graduated in fall 1983. I met my soul mate in colle...Expand for more
ge we were married in Sept. 1984 and have been married 24 years. During my second marriage I worked as the Front Desk Mgt. at the Nevada Palace, I worked from 1977 to 1980 there. Then I transferred to the Tropicana Hotel group reservations. I was there until 1994 and went to work for the City of Las Vegas as a Purching Tech. The City sent me back for many classes in computer updates. My husband also works for the City of Las Vegas as a surveying engineer.We lucked out to have the same hours and same days off to be with the children. The two oldest were grown by that time and we had the 3 youngest still at home. We still live in the same house I moved in in 1974. Living in Las Vegas is not the easiest city to live in but we have had a good life here. We go to the College Park Baptist Church, we have taught Sunday School as a team for 14 years. We have been Blessed for the last 25 years.
