Jadene's Story
I was born at the Grace Hospital in Vancouver on May 31, 1947. My brother and 2 sisters followed me. I graduated from the Douglas College Registered Nursing program in 1980 (a late start) and retired in 2012 from the Royal Columbian Hospital. Most of my years were spent working on the inpatient psychiatric unit at RCH. It was a fulfilling career and my co-workers were my second family. I have one son and daughter in law (Tony and Kathy) and 3 beautiful and bright grandchildren, Jacob, Anna and Connor. I am very blessed to have such a wonderful family. I remarried July 21, 20...Expand for more
12 to a wonderful man. We laugh a lot and life is great! Travelling is one of our passions and we've travelled through the British Isles and Ireland. It was fast paced but very and interesting! Half the bus was filled with Aussies and they are a fun bunch. Ron and I also love skiing and head up to Whistler yearly for a vacation with our family. We love to cruise. Hoping to connect with some of my fellow Killarney graduates on this site. Looking forward to seeing you at our 50th reunion Oct. 17th at the Firefighters Public House, 6515 Bonsor Ave., Burnaby. Cheers, Jadene
