Jaina's Story
Well, in a nutshell, I've been all over the place!
I spent my Senior year at Nampa Sr. High (which I'm still trying to get over-ha!) and went off to college in Seattle at The Art Institute (Burnley School of Art) and The University of Washington.
During my UW years I worked as a live-in personal assistant to Coach George Karl and his wife (Sonics, Bucks, Nuggets). It was a crazy few years of working on-call and running from class to class, but I loved getting to go to the NBA games and traveling with the family from time to time. his dreams and in his dad's footsteps to become an NBA player for the LA Lakers.
After college, I moved back to Nampa, Idaho for a short time to help care for my ailing grandmother. During that time I was lucky enough to meet the love of my life (yes, in Idaho, of all places!), Erica Hill.
I worked in graphic design for a short stint and then went into retail management as it seemed to be the easiest job to move around with Erica's career in TV News.
We're now back in Seattle, where I now focus on my fine art and illustration and work for Corbis as a Content Editor.
