Jaini's Story
Life
Spent two years at Fresno City College and earned an Associates of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies. Played two years of softball with all the players from around the valley that I thought were bitches but turned out to be great friends. Since then hung up the bat and glove for Golf Clubs and jogging.
Started a relationship with Kim Loomis, which has turned into a 19-year commitment. Moved over to Fresno State and finished up a Bachelor Science Degree in Business Administration  Finance. Struggled to find work in the Fresno Valley after graduating, so I moved to Las Vegas, NV were my sister Lynn was living. Found work with a local homebuilder and stayed there for 8 years until 2001. Construction Administration work for single family and multifamily projects.
In 1996 attended the Summer Olympics in Atlanta with Renee Munugia and Kim. We were at the Softball game USA vs Australia where the USA player missed stepping on home plate. Attended the USA WomenÂs soccer games and saw them beat China to win the gold medal. Almost cried when the played the ÂStar Spangle Banner...Expand for more
 during the gold medal ceremony.
In June of 1999 was in a bad car accident in Bakersfield, CA wrapped my Honda Accord around a tree just after the California Exit. Some kids enjoying a party threw a bottle out their window driving down freeway 99. Kim and I are luck to be here. KimÂs guardian angle Mom was protecting us. In July of 1999 went to the WomenÂs World Cup Soccer game at the Rose Bowl with Kim, Renee, and Shelly Fleeman. It was a fantastic game that went down to penalty kicks. My jaw was still wired shut from the car accident, which made it difficult to drink beer.
In June 2001, our first daughter was born, Jolie. Went back to permanent work in March of 2002 for the City of North Las Vegas in the Finance Department working in Accounts Payable. August 2003 second daughter Jocelyn was born. September 2004 moved into the Purchasing Division within Finance. Working for the government in Nevada has turned out to be wonderful.
Parents, sister Lynn, and brother Jeen still live in Fresno. We visit a few times a year for holidays and other events. Life is good.
