Jamaica's Story
After graduation, I went to UT. But, I graduated from UTHSC with my BSN. I worked as a trauma nurse at University Hospital and BAMC. I became a Legal Nurse Consultant along the way. I’ve been married for 23 years this year to a guy that I first dated in 1991. We started dating again in 1997 and married in 2000. Scrapbooking, golf and traveling are my major hobbies. My husband, Fred, is an attorney here in town. We have two sons. Our oldest son, Ethan, is going to HCHS now and is Senior 2024. He is a club swimmer and swims for HCHS, 6’5” tall …yikes! ....Expand for more
Our youngest son, Eric is starting 5th grade. He swims and plays soccer. My husband and I facilitate a 16-20 week marriage class through our church twice a year for couples that are on the brink of divorce dealing with adultery, addictions of all forms and abuse within the marriage. My life is full and quite chaotic at times, for sure. God has blessed me with a life that not everyone gets to have. We have had terrific ups and very dark downs along the way, but always have past through both extremes with humility and grace. I have been very fortunate.
