Then I worked for the U.S. Post Office in Baldwin, New York and subsequently served four years in the U.S. Air Force which included three years in Europe. After getting out of the Air Force in 1966 I moved down to Washington D.C. where, in 1969, I received a BA from American University. we raised our son Benjamin who now lives and works in Maryland. In 1997, after 31 years total Federal employment I retired from the Federal Labor Relations Authority as the Chairman's staff Supervisory Attorney and Acting Director of the Case Control Office. After retirement from the Federal Government and until Anne and I moved to Easton, Maryland, to live near our son, I kept busy as a part-time labor law consultant and as a part-time job coach for young adults with multiple disabilities. Since moving to Easton, Maryland I joined the Mid-Shore Mediation Center in Easton, Maryland, as a voluntary community mediator.
