James's Story
After graduation, I knocked around for a while, before joining the Air Force in November 1969.
I spent from November, 1969 to July, 1970 training in Texas, before going to Vietnam as a dog handler in July 1970.
After I returned, I married Barbara Blevins (class of 1970) and we were stationed in Minot ND, until I was discharged from active duty in November 1973.
We moved back to Denver, where I ended up working for the Fed until I retired in 2004.

I have two sons: Eric, 34 and Robert, 29.
Both are married. Eric and his wife, Amy live in Thornton and have no children, Robert just got married to Crystal in April, 2008 and live in Charleston SC, where Robert is stationed, as he is in the Navy. Crystal has 3 young daughters (4, 3 and 2), so we're instant grandparents.
Barb and I have lived in Arvada for the past 30 some years.
While I am retired, Barb continues to work for Benjamin, Bane and Howard, LLC.
