Life
Nothing to tell, really. Just like most of us, married, adopted 3 kids when they were 5, 13, and 11, respectively, built my house, had 4 careers, have 3 grandkids (if things go badly, I could be a great-grandfather in about 4 years), traveled around the world, live in Annandale, ardent leftist, found God, lost him in the supermarket, shop at Shoppers Food Warehouse, had lunch with Cindy Sheehan before she was arrested, watched some television, have a car, had 7 pets and now down to 3, live with 8 people in the house (had 9, but my 2nd son just moved in with his girlfirend), not really good around the house, took up painting, got stopped for taking painting, still lousy at sports, taught Civics and Science in middle school, attended...Expand for more
middle school (before Woodson), had several car accidents (all the other guys' fault - I have pictures), went to Unviersity, went to University, went to University, going to University (you would think I would have learned enough by now), heard a death-bed confession, forgot the death-bed confession, able to do my own laundry, bad at taking out the garbage, found my adopted son while checking out a listserv on the Internet, bought numerous crappy computers, do not own an IPOD but take them away regularly from students in my school, one of 8 people who watched the Olympics from Torino, have traveled to outer space (no, wait, that was a dream, sorry), had dinner with Howard Zinn, still forget my sisters' birthdays. Just like everyone else.
