James's Story
Welcome! Consider this a work in progress ! Updated 5_2022
Here it is the end of 2018 and I realize that it's time to update my profile. After being a practicing a Chiropractor in Albuquerque, NM for 39 year I decided to retire in 2015. It took almost two years to adapt to the change and disengage from what was a true passion of mine. Albuquerque is a good size town of about 600,000 these days offering all the amenities without the immense population and congestion of the Los Angeles area . I Remarried about 16 years ago to an absolutely wonderful woman, and am happier than any other time in my life. We live down in the Rio Grande River valley - called the Bosque - a heavily wooded and green area with the center of Albuquerque just 10 minutes away. Albuquerque is blessed with some amazing bike trails and we love peddling over to one ( paved ) that extends along the side of the Rio Grande and allows for close to 30 mile round trip rides should one be so motivated. No cars, no motorized vehicles, just the green of nature and one generally sees some wildlife on any journey down the path.

A lot of changes since 2018 ! We moved to Greenville, SC in mid 2020 and have now settled into our new life. My wife and I both have Southern roots so this was not as a dramatic change as one might think. Although the city of Greenville is small, the surrounding counties form a large metroplex with close to 1 million people in it. The area is vital, vibrant, and growing like crazy. Many major foreign corporations and their assembly plants are nearby us,. Michelin and BMW are just two of 230 international firms from 27 countries that make their home in the Greenville area. There is a long bike trail here as well - The Swamp Rabbit Trail, and a professional bike riders presence due to the influence of George Hincapie and other biking pro's who have retired here. . We just love our new life, and there is always something to do close by. This is a "foody" town and we feel blessed to be a part of this community.
That's all for now .
