WOW...aint life a kick? We've reached middle age...more adventures to come...enjoy! Here we are today, all these fantastic years later. Remember when your parents told you about the passage of time; that it will catch up even to you? Oy vey! I still wake up once in a grey moon thinking that I have football practice! I currently reside in California, about an hour and a half from San Francisco, married to a beautiful tall blonde; we have a 6 year old daughter who is the center of our lives. She is striving to be the next female Chuck Norris! California...what can I say? The weather is everything you have heard; it is absolutely beautiful! Life moves pretty quick down here you former CCI Cougars; gosh I miss Canada. I have been to a number of San Jose Shark hockey games down here. The people from the colonies cheer a little differently down here during the games; they have a warrior type mentality. appreciation for a crisp no look pass and the avoidance of a haymaker hit into the boards.
My wife (and yes our daughter now) have such a passion for classic rock and roll. Since we have been down here we have seen Toto, Styx (we were 5 feet from Tommy Shaw & James Young), Ambrosia, The Go Go's (they rocked), and the best of all...we saw the Eagles in Tahoe under the stars in 2005. And yes, the song "One of These Nights"...Don Henley can STILL hit that high note at the end of the song. Actually we went to see the Eagles and it turned into a Joe Walsh concert!
What holds next for us? We are seriously thinking about moving to Candada. I miss it and we both believe it would be a better place to bring up our young daughter.
I have talked briefly to Jim Siddal about the possibility of a future reunion in 2011? I hope it takes place as I unfortunately was unable to attend the previous events. Jim...is there any interest in a possible reunion in 2011? THIRTY YEARS later for us? WOW!!
