James's Story

After leaving Bishop Whelan in 1977 attended a few sessions at John Abbott. Left school and began working at Bell Canada in 1979 as an IT professional. Moved over to CGI in 1999 and retired in 2015. Doing odd jobs here and there to keep busy. Have two children from a first marriage (28 and 23 yrs of age). Remarried and family grew to 4 children. Since 2010 and a grand parent of a beautiful boy, and in 2015 grand parent for a second time. Hobbies included sports, played hockey until last year when an upper neck injury has forced me to retire from many contact sports. Love to bike in the summer, hike in the woods. Have travelled a lot in the last 15 years, bought a motorhome to allow me to travel N...Expand for more
orth America. Am currently in the planning stages for a trip to Thailand and possibly India. In the summer I enjoy going to NASCAR races, going away for weekends in the RV. Have taken a professional photography course and have done a few weddings in the past year or two. But took course mostly as a hobby. Kind of waiting for semi-retirement to set in. When it happens will travel to Alaska for 3 months to discover the northern wilderness and enjoy mother nature as it was intended to be. Also helping my daughter of 22 years plan her wedding for next year. It's real crazy... time flies by so fast. Enjoying life and the now moments and every new ones that come as these things are so easily gone forever.
