James Todd's Story
Life
If you went to Culpeper County High School, you may remember me as Todd not James. James is my first name. I have spent the last 17 years of my life trying to figure out what it is exactly that I am supposed to do. I have had several different jobs, which include working as a waiter at the Outback Steakhouse in West Virginia, to being a "Trauma-Team" medic at the Armies best hospital. I am now currently married to my lovely wife Jacqueline for three years, and have a beautiful daughter named Alexis who will be three in December. That is all I have for now.
Military
I started my military career in Fort Benning,GA in April of 1988 at the U.S. Army Infantry School. In July of 88', I then went on to The U.S. Army's Airborne School. he 844th Engineers out of Kingsport, TN. I was also going to Clinch Valley College of the University from 94' to 97'. From June of 97', until June of 98' I was in the 116th Infantry in Radford, VA. From July of 98' until August of 2000, I was in the 676th Medical Holding Co., out of Fairmont, WV. Then from September of 2000 to July of 2001 I was in the 7210th IMSU medical unit in San Antonio, TX. Then on August 1st, 2001, I reenlisted for active duty as a 91W Combat medic. Afterwhich, I found myself working at the U.S. Army's best medical facility. Affectionately known as BAMC (Brooke Army Medical Center). I worked in the ER as a "Trauma Medic" for the next three years. In late 2004' I ended my stellar military career for certain health reasons and started a new job. I am now working as a 91W Instructor at Fort Sam Houston, TX. I am hoping to make a difference in the lives of those who are going to be sent to the Middle East and Abroad.
