James's Story
After graduation, I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and also served a subsequent tour of active duty with the U.S. Navy. I attended Western Illinois Univ in Macomb and graduated with a BA in Law Enforcement Admin in 1984. I worked as a Deputy Sheriff in DuPage County prior to being hired by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration as a Special Agent in 1985 in Chicago, I have subsequently served in Miami (1...Expand for more

I continued my schooling during my "free time" and received MA degrees in Criminal Justice from New Mexico State University in 1997 and from Catholic Distance University (Theology) in 2007. I retired from DEA in June 2012. I was ordained as a Catholic Deacon in 2012 and work as a magistrate for Judicial District 15 in Virginia..
