Hello to my many York High School friends. I was only at york for three years but they were some of the best years of my life. It is too bad I had to go to Addison Trail High School for my Senior year. I played football and wrestled my senior year. I also was on the year book staff and I enjoyed the school dances. After graduation I went to college and graduated in Jan 1972 from Northern Illinois University, got marries and started my first full time job. After 18 months my company relocated us to the Seattle area. We have lived in Redmond, WA for 38 years and on Sept 5th celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. The Seattle area was hit very hard with unemployment. Both my wife and I were unemployed for over two years. Were were able to survive because of unemployment and a very tight budget. Elaine for a job in Jan 2011 but I was still unemployed. It did work out for the best as I was told I needed open heart surgery in Jan 2011 and I did listen to my doctor and took it easy for nine months. My doctor has told me that I have made a full recovery and can start looking for a job. Well I have decided to take early retirement and I qualify for Social Security when I turn 62 on October 8th.
