James's Story
In 1977, I moved to Lee's Summit from Colorado, and attended LSHS as a Junior. Following graduation in 1978, I briefly attending Longview College, and then relocated downtown Kansas City where I completed an AS degree from Penn Valley Community College.
As with some young people, the 18-24 age range brought with it lessons and life road-rash wrought from my own hand.
Academically, and following a needed life calibration, I went on to earn a bachelor degree in hydrogeology and then a Masters degree in Engineering. Following a vibrant, 2...Expand for more
0-year career in industry, in 2007 I left to start a national firm that engages Federal agencies in natural-resource, minerals, and Native American policy-making. In 2018 we are still at it, having logged notable successes and changed problematic decisions. In the early 1990's I married my lovely wife Donna, and we [well, mainly she] have raised and launched seven delightful children in a positive life direction. We are hopeful to attend the 40th LSHS class reunion, and would like information on when that may take place. Regards, jrc
