James's Story
Let's see,
42 years, Hmmmmm. I was in the Navy Hospital Corps during Viet Nam, I came home and worked at BMI for a few years as a cancer research technician, later as a janitor for Environment Control, an aide at Alum Crest Nursing Home then went to Ohio Institute of Technology and was hired by Measurex Corporation where I have worked for the past 30 years. (it is Honeywell now because they bought Measurex in 1999)
Somewhere between BMI and Environment control I met Bonnie and we were married. It has been 33 years and we have raised 7 children, 6 boys and a girl (no she was not the last). We now have 6 grandchildren and family all over the US. The kids are Jon, 37; Josh, 34; Joel, 32; Jonah, 29; Jessica (the girl), 27; James, 22 and Jude, 19. They are all married except James and J...Expand for more
ude but James has the license. Jude is still at home for now.
We have lived in Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Ohio again and now Georgia. We are looking to move back to Texas when we retire.
We have sampled many flavors of Christianity and are currently going to a small nondenominational church that is very supportive of those in need, whatever the need may be, which is as it should be in our eyes.
We are still looking for more than two nickles to rub together, but Bonnie and I have been happy and are currently looking for our fourth VW Bus.
I may update this later as I think of more that might be of interest, but this is all for now.
Oh, I go by my middle name now, Phill. There were too many jobs in the service that "Jim" could do so I used a perfectly good second name and it stuck.
