James's Story
Life
After HS I started working at Chevy. After about 6 years I started taking educational leaves and went back to school. First Hesston College in Hesston KS, gratuated in '79 with an AA in electronics. Next was part-time at U of M Flint, starting toward a degree in Computer Science. That only lasted for a year until I figured out it would take me about 10 years to complete the degree. Ended up taking more leaves and going to CMU. Graduated in '84 with a BS in Computer Science. Did not find the job I wanted so kept going to school. n MS in computer science. Worked for Lobdell-Emery for 5 years as a system and network administrator. Now work for GFS supporting customer using our software. Hobbies and interests are many, varied and subject to change without notice. I started sky diving last year. I use mid-life as an excuse. No wife or kids. Been lots of places since GB. Always come back to MI. Sunset side is my home now and probably always will be from now on.
