Our father who was a volunteer from Maine during WWII. Lucky for us he met our mother while stationed on Long Island before going to Europe. Married not long after getting back in 1945.
Our dad, 1st Sergeant Gerard Couture, 1942. Stationed at Michell Field, Long Island, NY before going to Europe for 3 years. Joined the New York National Guard as a 2nd Lieutenant 1948 - 1952.

Been together over 48 yrs.
I think Justin was two or three at this time. Leigh an I married about eight years and Christie was thirteen / fourteen. Damn, how did so many years go by so fast? Well Happy New Year to everyone and many more to all.
