James's Story
After Aragon spent 2 years at CSM, and was transfering to UC Berkley when I got drafted. Did 2 years alternate service as a conscientous objector. Never did make it back to school. Got married and started my own tree service business in Redwood City. Did that for 17 years.
For the last 18 years I have been able to follow my passion for fishing and make a living out of it. I own and operate a sport fishing charter service. Love meeting new people and doing something I really enjoy. I get to see people at their best...having fun!
I was married for 25 years and divorced in 2002. Married again in 2007. Wife is Rebecca. I am step-dad to her 2...Expand for more
grown kids, with no kids of my own.
Lived for years in Redwood City, and now in Bay Point, Contra Costa County. Very active in the politics of water in California. President of the West Delta Chapter of the Calif. Striped Bass Assoc.
I think of my years at Aragon as just trying to get along. Had a group of friends I tried to fit in with. Always had a job after school and tried to look to the future as well as have a good time. Love the music of that era, my CD's are still mostly Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane and Quicksilver. Still have the long hair and beard I grew while doing alternate service.
