Life
I married Linda Burgess in 1970. We have 2 boys, Sean - 46 and Jace - 41. In 1985 we moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. I worked for United Stationers for 34 years and left the company in 2003. I retired in 2015 from Bluefin Office Group where I was the Principal/Chief Operating Officer of a medium sized office products company in Salt Lake City. Linda is a 4th grade teacher who taught for 39 years before retiring in 2015.We love living in Utah and the traveling throughout the west. I enjoy fly fishing, skiing and camping. Linda also enjoys camping and spending time in the mountains. She also enjoys knitting, genealogy and collecting oyster plates, which is a real challenge when you live in the mountains and 700 miles from the ocean. In 2016 we adopted a retired War Dog, CWD Mazzie NDD, who served in Kuwait for 5 ...Expand for more
years as a drug detection dog. In 2018 we adopted another drug dog tha served in Kuwait for 4 years. Her name is CWD Geli NDD.
Sean lives in Vancouver, Washington and spends his leisure time snowboarding on Mount Hood. He works in constuction. He loves to build and repair things, from trucks and motorcycles to benches and other furniture. Sean & Misty have a 10 year old girl, Skyla, and a 7year old boy, Chance.
Jace and Lori live in Salt Lake City and have a 8 year old girl, Savannah, and 5 year old boy, Kade. Jace is an electrician and works at Nevada Gold Mine in Elko, NV.
Needless to say, Linda and I are the proud grandparents!
On April 4th. Of 2014 I was honored to be a part of the 50th. anniversary of the first lacrosse team at Howard High. There was a celebration during the half time of the Howard lacrosse game.
