James's Story

After graduating from Creston in 1967, I attended Grand Rapids Junior College for two years before transferring to Michigan State University. I graduated from Michigan State and earned a B.A. Degree in Sociology. My first professional job was with the Michigan State Department of Education as a Disability Examiner. During my time with the Michigan Department of Education I returned to Michigan State University and earned a M.A. Degree in Educational Psychology. Investigation (FBI) and after attending the FBI Academy at Quantico, Virginia, I was sworn in as a Special Agent with the FBI. I worked for the FBI for 23 years before retiring in 2005. During my career with the FBI I worked in Mobile, Chicago and Atlanta Divisions of the FBI. After retiring from the FBI I started a Private Investigation firm, James W. Cross & Associates where I work as a Private Investigator. I'm married to Teresa Bradley Cross and have five children and nine grandchildren. I currently live in metro Atlanta, Georgia.
