Life I was divorced in 2005 after 23 years of marriage to Susan Fox, of Sherman Oaks, California. We remain cordial, but she was drawn in other directions. We had no children. In mid-2009, I got back in touch with Tanya Stewart, a lady I'd known back in the mid-90s in L.A., through various Irish Heritage groups. She lived in Berea, KY, when she'd moved after HER divorce. We talked frequently on the phone for weeks, and in October of 2009, I went back to Berea to visit. That only enhanced things. In May, I took her to Birmingham, AL, to visit my large southern family, and we became engaged. I moved to Berea (about 30 miles south of Lexington) the week before Thanksgiving, 2010, and am now getting used to the snow. <grin> We got married in June 2012. I am a veteran, having served in the Army from '73 to '79, and was unfortunately injured in service, which has left me with a steadily-worsening back problem. The VA currently accounts me as 100% disabled, but I do rather better than that number might indicate. I had extensive spinal fusion surgery in July 0f '07, and am recovering nicely.
