James's Story

I was in the Naval Reserves during my senior year so I knew what I'd be doing after graduation. The Navy taught me a LOT! They even sent me to college to be an Elec Engineer. I found the coursework not to my liking. Left the Navy with a disability...Expand for more
retirement in '70. Went back to U of CO, Boulder. Graduated May of '74. Married five days later in OK City, OK. Have 1 daughter. Three granddaughters, one grandson. Moved to central MO in '80. Still love it here. Last saw WHS at 40yr reunion.
