James's Story

One of my favorite slogans (or sayings) was issued by Big Jack in our CGHS 1973 Yearbook and it went something like this: 'I don't want to walk in front of you, and I don't want to walk behind you, I want to walk alongside you as friends'. I loved it 'then' and I still do 'today'. RIP Big Jack. btw: it turns out this saying was borrowed/adjusted from elsewhere but still, it's 'catchy' My story in its simplest form is this: 'I was'; Now - 'I am'; and tomorrow, 'I'll be NO more'. Simple & clean, huh? Well, I guess that's all...Expand for more
-of-our stories in a nutshell, isn't it? Or: I did stuff; I missed-out on stuff, and it made...<??> Or lastly, if you haven't thrown-up already in your pandemic mask quite yet, there's a more verbose figurative story-book kinda way of telling it-all that dances through the pages in one chitter-chatter on a [shiny] nickel sorta way that lights no one's sparsely lit fire for too dang-long, but as they say, 'It is what it is... and there ain't no more'. I bet you're sorry you stopped by to see me now, huh? Be Well... Be well...
