James's Story

Went to R.P.I. and after a year and a half left for Texas and I met my ex-wife and have 6 kids. My son has a mental illness but is fighting through it! Then I became a Land agent, they are the guys that buy easements for utilities and roads so roads, pipelines and power lines can be built. Doesn't make you very popular sometimes but somebodies got to do it. I became a manager at 27 and managed the land agents on the second phase of the Gulfstream project which was the first pipeline to cross the Gulf of Mexico from Alabama to just south of Tampa. Moved to Salt lake City in 2008 and worked as a consultant then full time employee for Williams until Feb. 2016. I now work in Anchorage Alaska. I have worked in TX, AK, OK, MI, OH, IL, FL, CT, NY, NJ, NY, NE, WA, OR, UT, ID, CO, NM, WY and now AK along the way. Besides working, raising a gaggle of kids and competing in judo, I also played semi-pro football for a season until I tore my calf muscle. Won the National Amateur Sumo team tournament in 2006 with a dislocated jaw, won a few Texas hold'em tournaments here and there, kayaked, fished, created my own database and general caused trouble everywhere I went...
