James's Story

Life Hello Most people call me Jim now, alot of people back in the old neighborhood called me Jimmy. I always played guitar in a rock n roll band and I still do till this day. Most of the time the band members back then were Dennis Thomis, Larry Celmer, Jimmy Rinehart, Terry Lewis and Billy Wimble. I also was in ROTC for 3 YRS, the sargent realy hated my long hair. I also played in the school band playing 3rd Trombone Mr Roley was are Teacher. Some of my best friends in school were Billy Green, Fearther Farmer and Jerry Bernard. etween Pitt & Woodmere. It was a great place to grow up. I moved from Detroit in 1971 to Taylor for a couple of years. then to Farmington Hills, West Bloomfield, Livonia, Rochester Hills, Southern California, North Carolina, and now in Troy. My Hobbys are ever changing as of now I restore vintage Hammond clocks made by the Hammond organ Co. they were made between 1929 and 1941. And I play Guitar, Banjo and piano and organ. I also have a small recording studio. I have been retired now for about three years from G.M. I enjoy being able to travel around the country and the world. I enjoy fine food & fast food, Hotels and Camping, Mountains and Palm trees and hanging around the house.
