James's Story
School
Biggest crush, Jorene Davidson, Most inspired by (then) coach Dean Ludwig.
If I could do High School all over again I would jump at the chance and have a lot more fun and take a few different classes.
The craziest time was getting in a fight outside of the cafeteria with Milton Bowen.
The funniest was when coach Carl Crieger was showing off on the football field and slipped and fell into a mud puddle.
The happiest and most touching was when I was named the most valuable player on the 1968 football team. My fifteen minutes of the spotlight and when the head coach introduced me at a pep rally as " The One and Only Jim Hasman "
College
My roomates at Eastern Michigan University and good friends and team mates, Dick Smith and Russel Carson.
