James's Story
After High School I went to Ventura Jr. College for awhile. Was inconvenienced by the draft for a time. Then moved away from southern California as far as I could without paying out-of-state tuition, to Humboldt State College in Humboldt County. o Eugene Oregon to attend the University, where I got a masters in library science. Back to Humboldt County to work in the library system for 28 years. And now I'm retired in Hawaii playing my guitar in that sweet old slack key style. Still living with my first wife, a sweetie from Chico, and watching with unabashed pride our three grown children embarked on this great adventure.
