James Kodat:  

Military Major James A. Kodat is assigned to Headquarters Air Mobility Command at Scott AFB, Illinois, and will work in the Logistics Directorate. Maj Kodat was commissioned upon graduation from Southwest Texas State University in December 1997. He is a senior Logistics Readiness Officer and a graduate of the Advanced Logistics Readiness Officer Course. Maj Kodat has served as a logistics readiness officer in the United States, Europe, Pacific, and Southwest Asia commanding at the flight and squadron level including an Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron at Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base, Romania. He has TDY staff experience at the Joint Command, Major Command, and Combined Joint Staff levels. Major Kodat married the former Shannon Risdon of Flint, Michigan on March 12th 1988. They have three sons, Kevin (21), Kristopher (9), and Kameron (7).
